Recession Klub We've got zombie banks and black economies.... We've got poverty and negative equity... We've got harsh cutbacks and state bureaucracy... And our government defies democracy.... The bogus days of the Celtic Tiger, have now come home to roost, Investment in inflated properties, is now coming back on the poor. Zombie banks and black economies, now crawling from the chaos, Poverty and negative equity...are the buzzwords of today. And still they tell us that they know best, that they'll put it all to rights, But all we get is third world services, and it's us, who pay the price. And still they tell us they've got it right, but all we get is a higher price, Yet still they tell us that they know best. and they cripple us with debt!!! Join....the Recession Club. And now we've got the IMF, who have come to bail us out, By mortgaging our future, and I barely hear a shout. We went to work, and paid our taxes, and voted them in power... Now all we get, are harsh cutbacks...we're denied what is rightfully ours. Toxic bankers, and government wankers, the fat-cats and their cronies, They're the only ones who benefit, while we lose jobs and homes. They sit so smug and arrogant, and tell us to tighten belts, How we're all in this together, and they're putting us through hell. The cost of living, is coming down, they cry with shrieks of joy. But that's just for the bastard rich, and not the unemployed. We lose our jobs, new welfare cuts, 'the prices must come down' With a bloody revolution...we could burn their fun-house' down! And you may think, your life is safe, 'til your job is on the line, Now they're keeping us divided, whilst they shaft us from behind. They've bailed the banks and bonds and shares, yet hung us out to dry, And I barely hear a murmur, as they justify their crimes. Where did it all go? Where did it all go wrong?
