Nikon P1100 Unboxing and Test Zooms

A quick unboxing of the new Nikon COOLPIX P1100 and five test zooms. The P1100 is the recently released update to the Nikon COOLPIX P1000 super zoom camera. I unbox my new P1100 and meander around town zooming in on stuff. Zoom tests include (1) what appears to be a Costa Humming Bird perched on the top of a tree, (2) the top of a really tall antenna tower, (3) a municipal airport control tower, (4) archers shooting arrows, and (5) the colorful lights of a Ferris Wheel at night. I show the P1100's amazing zoom range from an optical focal length of 24mm to 3000mm. I also show the P1100's in-camera digital magnification of up to 4Xs, which is the equivalent of a 12,000mm focal length! NOTE: all focal lengths mentioned in the video are 35mm equivalents.
