"Art Talk" from Taos, NM circa 1992. Artist Bill Gersh was a talented multi-media artist whom was a visionary. He was a unique artist and teacher with a vision of art as a global message which was also inspired by living in the beautiful and rural mountain community of Lama, NM. The director, cinematographer and editor: Bill Knief and the narrator, Jean E Stevens, whom taught art history, humanities and studio art for Northern NM Community College - Taos branch. This was a project via Taos Public TV and Grassroots Video. Jean and Bill had hoped to create more artist interview videos of the unique artists of Northern NM but unfortunately were unable to get a grant to continue their work to document Taos artistic treasures. Bill sadly passed away, relatively young, in his 50's. He was also a talented poet and builder. The Lama studio, where the interview was conducted, unfortunately burned down during the Lama Fire a few years after this interview.
