1500mm F4U Corsair Balsa ARF With MrRCSound ASPIRE Sound System

This is a 1500mm (.40 size) F4U Corsair balsa ARF from 2006 converted to electric power with a MrRCSound ASPIRE sound system. All-up weight is 7lbs 6oz with a 5-cell 5000mah LiPo battery and a 50x55mm 630Kv brushless outrunner motor swinging a 12x8 Master Airscrew 3-blade prop. This was a flight of about 7 minutes and it used about 3000mah of the battery capacity. A single MrRCSound TT-25 transducer is glued to the underside of the cockpit and the Aspire sound card is configured for the Pratt & Whitney Double Wasp radial engine with the gyro-controlled whistle sound. Machine guns are setup on the Gear channel controlled by a pushbutton on the transmitter.
