Humility is not staying silent in the face of injustice. Speaking out against wrong does not make you proud. Jesus washed His disciples’ feet, but He also rebuked error. Humility is a mindset that helps you know who God is and who you are, without confusing the two. It means recognizing that God is sovereign and the source, not just a consultant. Humility is a lifestyle where you consciously submit your heart, will, and ability to God, acknowledging that He is everything, and valuing the people He places around us above ourselves.
