To put us in the mood, Ken Sutcliffe introduces a 1965 Sandown highlights film, which is followed by the two Group N (Appendix J) Heats. In 1988, that was cars built prior to the end of 1964. He is joined by Jackie Stewart and then Alan Jones, who co-commentate the Heats, which were recorded the day before. Drivers include Denis O'Brien, Tino Leo and John Mann. Mustangs, Cortinas, Minis, Holdens, Valiants and more. These iconic cars are now twice as old as they were when these Heats were run and they are still very cool.
