Brooke Houts Under Investigation For Abusing Her Dog | *Actual Footage*

Brooke Houts is a YouTuber who covers many topics from storytimes, vlogs, makeup, true crime, challenges, and most recently, life with her new puppy. I have followed Brooke for a very long time and had a lot of respect for her until she uploaded a very disturbing video of what I feel like is blatant animal abuse as she yells at, hits, pushes, and spits on her dog for behavior that is neither dangerous nor aggressive. She is currently under investigation by the LAPD for animal cruelty and many other YouTubers are calling attention to her behavior as a means of spreading awareness and ending this abuse treatment of animals. Personally, I was incredibly bothered by the video that I watched and I really feel like a conversation needs to be had on what is expected and required when caring for an animal, especially a dog that is large and can be potentially difficult to manage. I urge all of you to speak out against animal abuse and help hold people accountable of doing such things so that we can put an end to it while spreading awareness, finding safe homes for abused animals, and preventing further abuse.
