Hear how early adopter Jan Casselman, Chair of the Department of Radiology at A.Z. Sint-Jan Hospital in Bruges, Belgium has enjoyed success. At RSNA2016 we introduced a set of new neurofunctional applications. Included in this release are brand new clinical applications that can help make MR analysis more definitive* and enhance diagnostic confidence. And of course we also focus on patient experience. New applications come together to help improve overall exam experience. Neurofunctional application highlights By leveraging our dStream digital platform, we are introducing a set of novel imaging and visualization strategies. These may empower you to resolve complex neuro questions with more certainty, as well as unlock new neuro territories in advanced neurofunctional applications. One of the most impressive and well received new imaging techniques is Black Blood Imaging. Black Blood Imaging helps you better differentiate the vessel lumen from the intra lumen blood signal. This enhances your diagnostic confidence by performing your 3D brain imaging with higher isotropic imaging resolution¹ with a reduction of the intra-lumen brain blood signal² over the complete imaging volume. 3D ASL Reproducible contrast-free brain perfusion 3D NerveVIEW Review nerve plexus, non-invasively MultiVane XD Motion-free imaging in short scan time Patient experience highlights ComforTone Reduce acoustic noise and enhance patient experience AutoVoice Guide your patients through the MR examination Webinar speakers Jan W. Casselman, MD, PhD Chair of the Department of Radiology at A.Z. Sint-Jan Hospital in Bruges, Belgium. Head & Neck “consultant radiologist” at the A.Z. Sint Augustinus Hospital in Antwerp, he has further Academic teaching activities at the University of Ghent. His field of interest is Neuroradiology and Head & Neck Radiology. His research and clinical interests focus on MR techniques, cranial nerves, temporal bones, skull base, Head & Neck tumors. Jeroen Stout Prior to Philips Jeroen worked as a Radiological Technician in the Erasmus MC University Hospital in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. After graduation Jeroen became a specialized MR technician. He then moved to Philips where he have had several roles from clinical marketing, to clinical application specialist and Project Coordinator.
