This is how you empty and decalcify the steam generator Plus, Pro & Eco: 1. Disconnect the hose from the steam generator (as described on page 21) and unplug the device. 2. Opening the drain screw: Lay the device on its side. There is a drain screw under the machine that you can open using the Allen key provided with the machine or a 21 mm wrench. 3. Let the water completely drain into a bucket or sink. Hand-tighten the drain screw back onto the machine. (Please make sure that the sealing ring in the drain plug is correctly seated). 4. Fill the refill container completely with clear water. 5. Switch the machine on again and use it as usual.
