Improve the reliability of your consumer electronics by identifying weaknesses early in development. In this on‑demand session, we explore how environmental chambers help expose critical vulnerabilities through temperature and humidity extremes, thermal cycling and thermal shock, condensation control, UV/illumination exposure, and combined stress testing. You’ll see how common failure modes in electronics (PCBs, connectors, displays, batteries, and enclosures) can be linked to practical, real‑world test profiles, along with best practices for fixturing and sensor placement — particularly valuable for small devices and wearables. The session also highlights effective data capture and traceability methods that speed up root cause analysis and support regulatory and compliance needs. In this session, you will learn: • Why verification and validation must be considered from the start of product development. • Which regulations and industry certifications may apply to consumer electronics. • How to integrate environmental testing into a full development cycle. • Why derisk testing reduces cost, delays, and field failures. • How choosing the right partner for verification and validation impacts product success.
