C-Bomb is Brett's cousin, the self proclaimed ‘Godfather of the South Yorkshire dubstep scene’ (you may remember him from his 2008 hit single Rektal Dysfunktion). In his very own show for BBC Three, C-Bomb is set to make a triumphant return to the live music scene. A pilot in which he tries to impress a girl and plays a pub gig suggests Madin's sitcom is too close to BBC3’s pirate radio mockumentary People Just Do Nothing, echoing its jokes about bragging DJs with dingy lives and small followings; but whereas the earlier comedy was indebted to The Office, C-Bomb is clearly inspired instead by Steve Coogan, and there are nice moments of Partridgean embarrassment. Starring Rob J Madin (aka YouTube's "Brett Domino") as C Bomb. Imagine Eminem's "8 mile" set in Sheffield, to a dubstep beat and you're still not even close.
