(LINKS BELOW) Two years ago I started an experiment. I bought a very fast PC desktop editing computer to replace my aging 2013 Mac Pro, but I kept using my 2018 15” Touchbar Macbook Pro. After 2 years of using both systems daily as well as test driving my wife’s new M1 Macbook Air and friends’ top-spec, new 16” Macbook Pros, I’ve decided to drop Mac and fully embrace the PC. A month ago I received my unbelievably powerful, fast, beautiful and fun Dell XPS 15 i9 laptop and I totally adore it. I’ll share why as well as give some tips to anyone considering making a similar change.
