📍 Presented by Founder & Chairwoman Makaila Davis, Angels Protection Inc. 🎓 Guest: Rev. Michael Robinson, M.S. Christian Counseling Welcome to Episode 25 of Breaking the Silence, a podcast series by Angels Protection Inc. dedicated to amplifying voices that challenge inequity, expand opportunity, and strengthen the institutions that shape economic mobility and community advancement. This episode is part of our Men of Impact Series, where we spotlight executive leaders whose work across faith, workforce development, higher education, and community engagement is expanding access and creating real pathways to opportunity. This conversation is about more than leadership. It’s about stewardship. It’s about access. It’s about economic empowerment. And it’s about what it truly means to build systems that serve people — not just organizations. For far too long, communities across our nation have faced barriers to employment, education, and advancement. Today’s guest has dedicated his career to dismantling those barriers through workforce innovation, mentorship, and faith-driven leadership. 🎙️ Guest Spotlight: Rev. Michael Robinson Rev. Michael Robinson is a bi-vocational pastor, workforce strategist, higher education leader, and community architect whose career bridges faith, corporate leadership, education, and economic development. He currently serves as Associate Pastor of Monumental Baptist Church in Philadelphia under the leadership of Rev. Dr. J. Wendell Mapson, Jr., while leading workforce and community initiatives that connect residents to career opportunities and long-term economic mobility. Throughout his career, Rev. Robinson has held leadership roles including Director of Community Outreach and Hiring at Temple University, Recruiting Manager at Deloitte, Director of TRIO Upward Bound at Swarthmore College, Director of the Center for Male Engagement at the Community College of Philadelphia, and Adjunct Professor at Eastern University and Temple University’s Fox School of Business. For more than a decade, he has produced Philadelphia’s largest annual citywide job fair, connecting thousands of residents to employment opportunities while strengthening the city’s workforce ecosystem. His work has earned statewide recognition, including the Workforce & Economic Trailblazer Award and appointments to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on African American Affairs. Ordained in 2013, Rev. Robinson also served as Senior Pastor of Greater Enon Missionary Baptist Church for more than a decade, where his ministry expanded beyond the pulpit through mentorship, marriage counseling, and community empowerment initiatives. He is also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., reflecting a lifelong commitment to achievement, leadership, mentorship, and service. What sets Rev. Robinson apart is his ability to integrate faith, workforce strategy, higher education access, and community leadership into one cohesive mission: building pathways where none previously existed. 🎧 Topics Covered: • Workforce development and economic mobility • Faith-based leadership and community empowerment • Higher education access and student opportunity • Fraternity service and civic responsibility • Building sustainable pathways to employment • What leadership rooted in service truly requires Together, let’s continue breaking the silence. 🔗 Learn more: www.angelsprotection.org 📲 Follow us on Instagram: @angelsprotectioninc 📘 Follow us on Facebook: Angels Protection Inc 📩 For interviews, partnerships, or press: info@angelsprotection.org #BreakingTheSilence #MenOfImpact #LeadershipWithPurpose #WorkforceDevelopment #FaithAndLeadership #EconomicMobility #KappaAlphaPsi #BlackMenLead #CommunityImpact #AngelsProtectionInc #PodcastSeries #1911 #NPHC
