Get ready with me as I put on my completed 1865 ballgown for the first time. I am getting ready to attend a Crinoline era ball. Take a look at the large eliptical crinoline/ hoop skirt that I designed to create the correct silhouette for the mid 1860s, which was when the skirts reached their largest size! Take a peek into what it's like to attend a Victorian ball and dance in such a large skirt. Also, briefly see how I changed the ballgown to wear to another ball, by adding ruffles bows and flowers to create a different look.
