Brett Piper's "ARACHNIA" B-Movie Behind The Scenes

Interesting Behind the Scenes Doc on the making of the B-Movie "ARACHNIA" produced for Edgewood Studios by two young filmmakers for the feature. Interestingly, the studio and the Director Brett Piper did not get along well on "ARACHNIA" and Piper left the film before Post-Production was completed. The personnel at Edgewood Studios, along with it's owner DAVID GIANCOLA finished the film, which went on to become a small success and to glowing reviews (for a low-budget B-movie). Proof that a happy set does not always mean a good movie. It has been noted that this is ironically considered Piper's best film and certainly the most technically accomplished. As to exactly what elements were contributed by whom is left to the passage of time, but it is certain that the quality of Mr. Piper's work did not improve after "Arachnia". Edgewood Studios interestingly recycled the animated spiders (as it was know to do often with stock images, sets, and effects) in their B-Movie spoof "ILLEGAL ALIENS". The film was noteworthy as ANNA NICOLE SMITH'S last film before she died and the film spawned the Acclaimed Documentary by Giancola; "ADDICTED TO FAME", considered to be on of his best films to date.
