Manor Park Cemetery Tour. Part 2 = The Working Class + War Memorial to Both World Wars. Filmed on Sunday 13th August 2023. In this episode = We carry on our tour, looking at the graves of "the ordinary everyday working class person "from which, you can quite often glean some very interesting social history." Then, we head to the War Memorial "which cover those, lost in both WW1 & WW2." An older grave "husband & wife = with quite a big age difference." Distant views of the Chapel "showing its original 1870s Stone tower + the more recent, main body of the chapel." Old graves amongst the new "including one with a Welsh? inscription." Then lastly in this episode = The only modern grave "I've shown in this cemetery = no closeups or name though, as its quite recent." BUT, its pretty famous this one!! As the main body of the tombstone, made from black granite "is carved in the form of the grave occupants favourite sports car = very impressive." Then, we end this episode, with a closeup walk around the chapel + a walk into its original stone tower "some nice stained glass" + old stone meets newer red brick.
