A north wind will blow in tonight clearing skies and dropping temperatures. Sunshine will be limited Monday morning before clouds increase in the afternoon. Afternoon highs will max only in the 20s. The clipper parade will crank back up as early as Tuesday. Tuesday we will watch a system that will be passing to our north. Some of these showers could slip towards us- the further north you are, the better your chance to see a few flakes. Temperatures will gradually warm late Tuesday. A changeover to a wintery mix is possible depending on speed and track of Tuesday's system. We will continue to warm into the upper 30s/low 40s Wednesday with mainly rain showers. Wednesday night into Thursday temperatures plunge as precipitation turns back to snow. We will have a great set up for lake effect snow for the primary and secondary snowbelt Thursday with breezy conditions. Periods of snow will continue into next weekend. Expect changes to the forecast as each system moves closer. Long-range guidance is aligned with impactful accumulating snowfall through next Sunday.
