Low Clutch Bite Point? How I Did a Quick Fix. Freelander and other cars

Is your clutch bite point too near the floor? Fed up with trying to bleed out the air but with no success? Tried forward and reverse bleeding but still no success! Here is how I did a quick fix by extending the clutch peddle travel, so any last bits of air in the system that won’t come out don’t have such a significant effect. After fixing the clutch the bite point was another 1- 1.5 inches higher up so was a huge improvement. Well happy with it. Hopefully it should last. This modification just allows for more pedal movement and moves the pedal up so it starts from a higher point. There is extra movement in the master cylinder that is not being used and this is now taken advantage of. Moving the bite point higher means that you also get better disengagement of the clutch and hence nicer gear changes. All you need is some drill bits (and a drill). You need. 13mm and a 6.5mm bit.
