From that, I was hoping this would be a hard-hitting song..but nope. Turned out to be a mellow one like his recent stuff, at least for the most part. I think this song is a..reasonably good example at showing how Calvi softened up. There's a lot less "noise" and Miku's voicework is more charming, sure, but it feels like he's really trying to avoid making too many moments like from 0:56 - 1:33. I was really, really hoping that this song would be a really heavy one, (like, you know, his other old stuff). I still like this remaster of course, especially the atmospheric outro, but he's been on this style for a while now, and I'll be honest; it's getting old for me and likely some of you too. If you like how he's going with his music, I have no problem with that, and I can see why many people can dig this style. But here, I'm just hoping that he'll make something instinctively different sometime soon. He has the talent to do so much more with his work. ....Bah, enough of my whining, enjoy the music!
