Woodturning - Ohh YEW Big Boy In this woodturning videos, I will turn a giant Yew log blank into a stunning wooden bowl with carved feet at the bottom. Wanted to retail some of the live edge / natural edge where the bark will be removed but will show the beautiful natural curves of the wood. Sanded to 320grit then some Rubio Monocoat finsh was applied to pop the grain but also to provide protection long term. This was my first bigger wood piece on the new woodturning lathe but certainly some bigger woods to come soon.
