In this episode I'm going to attempt regrinding the front edges of a couple of end mills that I got pretty much for free. I am following some general guidelines that i found across the Cincinnati documentation and some other books that I have on the subject. I wasn't really sure about the gashing and the wheels but overall the profiles look good and the wheels do cut nicely on this cobalt/hss end mill alloy The final result is quite impressive given that this is the first time I try using this T & C grinder for this purpose. I have some more tooling coming very soon that I'll be installing on this beautiful T & C grinder soon, and perhaps we'll be able to see applications of this marvelous machine tool. This is a machine that would definitely benefit a DRO, once I have all the hardware and electrical components DR.DRO will be installed and configured for indexing on a suitable work head. Let's get the basics first though.
