This time at the Quick Speed Shop my 1940 Mercury sedan is prostreet no more as I roll in the new rear suspension. A brand unknown parallel leaf kit for 1935-40 Fords and a Granada 8.7 rear with 15x8" chrome reverse wheels holding 255/60R15 Cooper Cobras gets the Merc sitting wide and low. The Granada 8.7 is an odd duck rear that Ford used in some Granadas and Monarchs from 1977-80. A C-clip axle unit similar to an 8.8, but no parts interchange from the differential. This unit is an open drive 2.56:1 highway flyer that will be perfect for cruising. Please like, share, and subscribe. I put out new videos every Wednesday and Saturday. #mercury #granada #custom
