This village named Baro is situated forty-five kilometers north-east of Gujarat city in Pakistan, on the border of Kashmir and Punjab. This is the village union council. There are high schools in this village for the education of boys and girls. In these schools, children are given free books and education from class 1 to class 10. There are basic health centers for the health of humans and animals in this village. The education and friendship of the residents of this village is such that the literacy rate in this village is 90 percent. No person from this village has returned the national treasury of Pakistan and made assets in any country outside Pakistan. The people of this village, after living in other countries and doing hard labor, earn money and bring it back to Pakistan. As of today, there is no vacant land in this village. Gajjar community has more land in this village. The residents of this village do not have any documented history about the village. There is only history heard from the elders according to which Baru was the name of some elder of theirs and all of them are the descendants of this Baru. Mahdi Khan is the elder of this village. Mahdi Khan's age is a few years more than Pakistan's age. Because Mehndi Khan remembers those events of his childhood when there was a war between Pakistan and India over the Kashmir dispute in 1948. In the 1965 war, Mehndi Khan was young and in the 1965 war, the border of India and Pakistan was in his villages. The entire village was involved in the war. In the 1971 war between Pakistan and India, the Pakistani army pushed the Indian army back from here.
