This village named Baro is situated forty-five kilometers north-east of Gujarat city in Pakistan, on the border of Kashmir and Punjab. This is the village union council. Mahdi Khan's age is a few years more than Pakistan's age. Because Mehndi Khan remembers those events of his childhood when there was a war between Pakistan and India over the Kashmir dispute in 1948. In the 1965 war, Mehndi Khan was young and in the 1965 war, the border of India and Pakistan was in his villages. The entire village was involved in the war. In the 1971 war between Pakistan and India, the Pakistani army pushed the Indian army back from here.
