CA Prop 25 - Changing the Cash Bail System

This sounds like a great idea at first, I still think we need to reform the prison system and the cash bail system completely. Unfortunately, this isn't the best way to do it and it definitely isn't the best time to create a whole new way to create, fix and change the entire bail system. Still a bit mixed since cash bail bonds seem sketchy from the get go, but leaving it up to an automated program to determine flight risk is bound to have tons of issues. I can already see it creating prejudices and biases based on pure empirical data. There needs to be a human perspective when it comes to these kinds of things since they can often time be very nuanced and case specific. Good intentions, not the best form of execution.
