Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Pays Tribute To Mahant Narendra Giri, Says Culprits Will Be Punished

Yogi paid tribute to Mahant Giri and also said that investigation will be carried out into the matter. Yogi added that the accused will be punished. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Police’s sources revealed that Narendra Giri was disturbed due to a particular video. It is being investigated whether Mahant was been blackmailed over the said video. Reportedly, Giri had also made a video before committing suicide. This video is said to have the reason behind his suicide. An FIR has been registered against Mahant Narendra Giri’s student Anand Giri over the former’s death case. Reportedly, Anand has been charged for abetment to suicide. Police has however said that, the reason for death will be ascertained only after the postmortem and further investigation. Narendra was found dead in Prayagraj. Three people have been arrested in connection to the case. Narendra had reportedly left a suicide note, which mentioned Anand’s name.
