Companies like Roro Lure also make shallow spools for many existing "normal" baitcasting reels so, that may be an easy option to get into BFS. Many reels like the Daiwa SV reels are pretty capable of casting most bass plastics weightless without modification. This is the first mainstream rod to be specifically made for BFS fishing.
