I recently got an HRO against my hoovering ex and just found out he was served last week. I live in a city of about 50,000 people and it's a college town. I've been considering going back to school for some time, and have been thinking for awhile about getting a job at the university as it would allow me to go to school for free. However, the catch is, my ex works at this university in residence life, and I have met a few of his friends that also work at the university. My logical mind says this is a bad idea, however, something in me still wants to pursue this, and I'm trying to figure out whether it's that I truly want to allow myself to be free and not let him affect me any longer, or if there's something in me that wants to still get back at him and/or rub the restraining order in his face.
