Pokémon XY | Mono-Fairy | Part #1: Santalune Gym

Please read the description for information. Gym battle begins at 1:20. [Why have we cut to the gym battle?] In a nutshell, I have neither the time at the moment (anymore, anyway) or the interest to do a fully voiced commentated walkthrough. It's one of those things that I think to myself would be cool to do, but when it gets down to it it seems to take a lot more effort than I was expecting, particularly since I'm not a natural speaker! Props to those who do fully commentated gameplay in its entirety, but it's probably not the thing for me now. At the rate I was going (one episode a month, lol) we'd be in Gen 8 by the time I got the blasted run done. So, going back to important sections with text commentary instead. Besides, everyone's played XY now, right..? I can't see people being THAT interested in a full game realistically. I'll be explaining progress through the routes and that in my little gameplay commentary box, at least. I sped up the less important parts as well, since watching standard battles can get a bit boring. I'll leave the initial two videos up as a legacy in case people for some reason want to actually listen to my voice, but there probably won't be voice commentary for this run from now on. On the bright side, I should hopefully churn these videos out a lot faster. Though I'm on Route 12 on my actual game now and oh my lord is Kirlia difficult to train. Cannot WAIT until it evolves! One final note, I was thinking I might possibly be able to actually stream me playing it, but I dunno if it's worth bothering with. ============================== [Are you going to make a Platinum/Emerald hack?] At the current time, no, since in all honesty I don't have the time. University starts again in a week and I have done absolutely nothing. I am horrendously far behind ._. Time sure flies when you play mobas, huh. Maybe in the future, although I would like to make some tools of my own before I crack Platinum (PPRE is a bit awkward with it, causes some problems with the Wild Pokémon. It's the European supplier for http://3dscapture.com/, which I had to use given I'm in the United Kingdom. ============================== [What have you edited this with?] I used Sony Vegas 12 to get the video looking how it does. The plain layout itself (e.g. the boxes and the background) are made by my friend who preferred to not be given credit, so I guess I won't bother naming him. :P
