I’m here with a run that I tried to complete in October. When I tried this in one piece, I got unlucky with the northbound leg due to signal problems on the 🟠6 Av Line🟠 coming back up. And due to trying to knock out other routes and having some bad luck on certain routes in October, I had hope to turn my luck around in the November runs. And it all came to fruition here with this smooth ride on the (D) Line in midday hours to Norwood-205 St. Just like when I did the (F) Line, I went to the high school and visited once more just as ski season was starting up. With this ride coming together as planned, the luck factor became much better. Now I know we currently have R68s assigned to the (D) Line, but with the option orders of R211s beginning soon, I have a feeling we will be seeing R211A cars running on the (D) Line in the next year and we might get some sets assigned to Coney Island and Jamaica due to the order being one of the largest in MTA history, including the option orders. Due to CBTC soon coming to the 🔵8 Av Line🔵 very soon, and then the 🟠6 Av Line🟠 slightly after, this combo will be rare soon because these R68s will likely move to Coney Island Yard to retire the remaining R46s in the system. When the R211s come to the (B) and (D), expect an upload on those combos. So yeah, this ride was fun and I hope you guys enjoy this ride through Brooklyn, Manhattan & The Bronx.
