Another vid now showing Malcolm, the Central Line Guard. This time we see him in action at Leyton & Ruislip Gardens. Until 1984 all Underground lines had guards apart from the Victoria which opened as an automaticaly operated line from the start. In 1984 LT started to convert lines to OPO starting with the Hammersmith Met Line and finishing in 2000 with the Northern. The penultimate line to convert was the Central Line, and at the time this vid was made the 92 stock had arrived and the OPO conversion had started.
