EDIT: Last night I had the privilege to not only see in concert, but meet, Amon Amarth. It was an honor to hear that they enjoyed my rendition of this tune. You guys rawk, man. Love ya. My solo piano rendition of Amon Amarth's new song, War of the Gods. Learned all by ear, so as for sheet music, I have none. Excuse the fairly reserved playing, I was feeling a little drowsy and unenergetic as I recorded this... but I think it's plenty listenable all the same. Check it out! Just make sure to turn up your volume. One thing to note: I approached this song with a different idea in mind than what my mindset was for my Twilight of the Thunder God rendition; for this one, I wanted to adapt the song to the piano more; as a result, this cover is less bombastic and more introverted, catering more to the innate nature of the instrument. Keep that in mind as you view/evaluate my playing.
