The Grab Detachable grab cassette (GRD)*, engcon’s new detachable grab cassette can also be retrofitted. The grab cassette is simply hooked onto the Q-Safe-D quick hitch, whereby the grab cassette is locked on and the hydraulics are connected with a single grip – an operation that takes less than a minute. If so desired, GRD is available already permanently mounted (bolted) at the time of ordering a new tiltrotator. The grab is angled 15 degrees against the rotation, which provides a longer reach. Two versions of GRD are available: GRD10 which fits quick hitches QS45 and QS50 and GRD20 for quick hitches QS60. GRD10 (for S45 & S50) series delivered in autumn 2016 GRD20 (for S60) series delivered summer 2016 Just like with the grab cassette GRD, the SWD* rotating brushes can be retrofitted simply on the new Q-Safe-D quick hitch by being hooked onto the hitch’s two mounting hooks. The rotating brushes are then locked and connected to the hydraulics with a single grip – quick and easy. SWD is driven by a powerful hydraulic motor and is folded up or down with a hydraulic cylinder. SWD is flexible and the width can be adjusted for the task in question, from cable sweeping to cleaning large floor areas. This reduces the need for manual labour and makes a safer workplace.
