Despite Dame Dash’s fiery temperament and numerous controversies, DJ Envy praised the collective effort that made the Roc-A-Fella empire successful. “It was perfect timing and perfect magic,” Envy said, acknowledging that all three partners—Jay-Z, Dame Dash, and Kareem “Biggs” Burke—played critical roles. However, he admitted that working with Dame was challenging, and questioned how Jay-Z managed to tolerate Dame for so long, given his aggressive behavior.
