Wood Turning Easy High Gloss Sprayed Lacquer Finish

My easy method of spraying lacquer on a wood turning. This video is how I apply a high gloss sprayed lacquer finish on the lathe. Applying lacquer on the lathe is a great way to get a nice finish. I was asked how I do it so it was easier to show in a video. I use spray lacquer from a can. I have used an airbrush as well as an HVLP Gun A hardwood will give you a much glossier finish because of the much tighter grain. Softer woods will work but do require more finish to be applied. I use cloth to apply the sanding sealer and the abrasive and polishing paste. Using cloth on a wood lathe is not recommended. Only use what you feel is safe for you.
