There were many movie adaptations of the Trojan War cycle. And quite often you can hear the audience complaining about the “accuracy” of interpretations of certain events and characters. In the last couple of decades this kind of backlash happened with Troy directed by Wolfgang Petersen and with the recent Troy: Fall of a City Netflix miniseries.
