Gregorian Chant – Confiteor (432Hz). Traditional Latin Mass prayer of repentance The Confiteor is one of the most powerful penitential prayers in the Catholic Church. It is prayed at the beginning of the Holy Mass and expresses deep sorrow for sin before Almighty God and the communion of saints. Latin Text – Confiteor Confíteor Deo omnipoténti, beátæ Maríæ semper Vírgini, beáto Michaéli Archángelo, beáto Ioánni Baptístæ, sanctis Apóstolis Petro et Paulo, ómnibus Sanctis, et vobis, fratres: quia peccávi nimis cogitatióne, verbo et ópere: mea culpa, mea culpa, mea máxima culpa. Ideo precor beátam Maríam semper Vírginem, beátum Michaélem Archángelum, beátum Ioánnem Baptístam, sanctos Apóstolos Petrum et Paulum, omnes Sanctos, et vos, fratres, oráre pro me ad Dóminum Deum nostrum. English Translation I confess to Almighty God, to blessed Mary ever Virgin, to blessed Michael the Archangel, to blessed John the Baptist, to the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, to all the Saints, and to you, brethren, that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word, and deed: through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault. Therefore I beseech blessed Mary ever Virgin, blessed Michael the Archangel, blessed John the Baptist, the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, all the Saints, and you, brethren, to pray for me to the Lord our God. Gregorian Chant has always been regarded as the supreme model for sacred music, so that it is fully legitimate to lay down the following rule: the more closely a composition for church approaches in its movement, inspiration and savor the Gregorian form, the more sacred and liturgical it becomes; and the more out of harmony it is with that supreme model, the less worthy it is of the temple. — Pope St. Pius X Listen to more Gregorian Chant in 432Hz: ▶ Kyrie Eleison (432Hz) • Gregorian Chant – Kyrie Eleison (432Hz) f... ▶ Glória Patri (432Hz) • Gregorian Chant – Glória Patri (3 Hours) |... ▶ Deus in Adjutorium (432Hz) • Gregorian Chant – Deus in Adjutorium (432Hz) ▶ Domine Iesu Christe (The Jesus Prayer) (432Hz) • Gregorian Chant – Domine Iesu Christe (The... ▶ Domine Non Sum Dignus (432Hz) • Gregorian Chant - Domine Non Sum Dignus 43... ▶ Te Lucis Ante Terminum (432Hz) • Gregorian Chant – Te Lucis Ante Terminum (... #GregorianChant #Confiteor #LatinMass #432Hz #CatholicPrayer #TraditionalCatholic #SacredMusic #Lent
