AC infinity 8 inch fan in my attic. Transcript: i'm up here in my attic with the uh attic fan that i am using the inline fan that i'm using as an attic fan uh i just wanted you to get a sound for about how loud this thing is and then i'll step away from the fan and talk a little bit more about it i originally purchased this inline fan to pull air through a merv 13 filter when i was trying to do a homemade filtration system back when the air was really smokey and there was a lot of coronavirus concerns in my classroom anyways now i'm repurposing it back in the attic i don't have the ducting hooked up but eventually it'll use it as a attic fan slash whole house fan and um right now it has a speed controller but i'm not i actually lost the speed controller somewhere in the installation process in my classroom but uh what you heard it on was on its full setting which is 807 cubic feet per minute of air right now i just have it wired up to an outlet switch so i just switched it off and on so i can um so now it's off so you can hear what i'm saying and then uh i don't know what other questions that i had oh as far as mounting it really easy to mount this middle part of the fan titus please stop um comes out right here and then that exposes some brackets underneath there and you just screw four screws and you can hang it upside down sideways anything like that and it zero vibration so i i'm gonna now turn it on so you can hear it a little distance away that was it's rated at 39 decibels but that's what it's like right on it with no housing just the fan without anything hooked up to it here we are about let me turn this on about six feet away you can hear it coming up to speed here okay here's the sound from about six feet away again no housing around it there's nothing restraining and that is on the full the full rpms so max speed the speed controller is off now it's just setting the full speed and there it is 800 cubic feet per minute
