These speakers came in "RCA 400" cabinets which were made for movie projecters, the date codes on the frames are 220624 and 220717 (1956 and 1957). They ARE alnico magnet, and if I knew more about them I could verify that they are P10Qs, that is my best guess due to the 1 1/4" dust cover caps in the center of the cone. So as you hear they have that special Jensen bell-like ring to them, clear bass and all that, Leo Fender himself said that it was the Jensen speakers that were most responsible for the great sound of his amps. The amp btw is a handwired replica of a '59 tweed Bassman 5F6A, it was made by an enginer in PA. about 2003, went by "Budsamp" and the links and phone #s are all expired. He even either built the speakers that were in it from kits or commissioned them to be built to his spec.
