N-ext Humic 12 Application - RGS Milorganite Before And After 6/20/18. In my spoon fed regimen of Next RGS, Micro Green and Milorganite.... The lawn looked great a week eariler then the video was shot, but you can see it in the wavey stripes video I added at the end. Today, I was contending with a nightime mow/video, to keep on schedule (why did I chose Wednesdays? lol). Anyway, the yellow cast to the lawn is seed stalk that is passing right now, those hard stalks have turned yellow and are on their way out. To combat this problem, I am dropping my cut, as I did in this video, by 1/4" over the next two cuts to 3 1/2" and letting the good grass grow above again to 4". I am getting much smoother with my applications of the liquid products (minus a patch applied to the cement, as I was trying to first hand film...... and watch through the view finder. Don't stress, it will not stain.... I would of been in trouble if so when I decided to wear 3oz of it down the front of me and on my RV pad.) I got a whole application down, with filming, and filling 1 1/2 times in 15 minutes for 8000sqft (minus the walk and talk for the patches)....Not shabby. This round of Humic 12 ( humic12), I decided to do my regular application, with some patch work goodness. I added an extra 3oz per 1000 over the existing patches in the front yard. I am excited to see it work in those areas. The first application of Humic12 in those areas, filled those areas in with runners and baby grass. This time I plan on making them more even and full. Foolish in 90 F + weather, maybe..... But I am going to see what it does :) ! The Milorganite Before and after results, with RGS and Humic12 gave me great results in the first week. When I shot my video, you can see how green it is from directly above, but the seed stalk in lawn, at an angle cast a yellow tint....
