Today we will go through the setup of your Kegerator to ensure a nice cold, consistent pour every-time, all the time. The KM2800 Series Kegerators come packaged in double wall boxes that exceed shipping requirements for safe packaging. Step 1: Parts Inventory: • Once all packaging has been removed, open the Parts Kit and set the pieces aside for easy access later in setup. Step 2: Attaching the Casters • Lay the unit on its backside and gather the 4 casters. • 2 out of the 4 casters have brakes that will prevent the unit from accidentally sliding around. The 2 casters that have brakes will need to be placed on the front of the unit. • Insert each caster into the openings and hand tighten. • Place unit right side up when complete. *Disclaimer: please leave unit upright for a minimum of 8 hours before powering on* Step 3: Installing the tower. • Grab your Beer Tower and proceed to the top of the kegerator. • Feed beer line through the opening in the top of the unit. • Using both hands, turn the tower until it locks into place. • Repeat above shot with washer. (Additional Washer may be used for stability). Step 4: Connecting the CO2 Tank to the Regulator. • Screw the Dual Gauge Regulator onto the CO2 Tank. A special Wrench is included which can be used to tighten the regulator to the tank. • Unlock the C02 Regulator knob using the provided allen key. Step 5: Connecting the CO2 Line • Connect the CO2 Line to the CO2 Regulator securely using the provided wrench. • Before moving on verify that the top-hat gasket is inserted on the CO2 side of the Keg Coupler. • Connect the CO2 Line to the keg coupler. Step 6: Connecting the Beer Line • Place the included O-ring seal on top off the keg coupler. • Align the hose from the Beer Tower with the keg coupler and tighten. Step 7: Calibrating the CO2 Regulator • Once the CO2 regulator has been unlocked and the lines have been run, the system needs to be set to the proper pressure. The optimal pressure for your keggermeister is around 6 - 8 psi. [ TIP: CO2 Refill Locations: Keg Retailers, Party Stores, Welding Shops, Paintball Shops, and more! ] • Turn the CO2 Regulator knob completely counterclockwise to set the Regulator to 0 PSI. • Turn on the CO2 Cylinder. • Slowly open the CO2 regulator valve by turning it clockwise, you will see the gauge rising in PSI. • Stop turning the valve once the gauge reaches 6 PSI. Step 8: Securing the CO2 Tank. • Once the CO2 Tank and Regulator have been setup and calibrated, place the CO2 on the back right shelf and use the included belt to secure it in place. Step 9: Cooling your Keg. • Place your keg inside the Kegerator and close the door. • Allow the Keg to rest and cool for 3 -- 8 hours. Step 10: Tapping the Keg: • Lift the Keg Couple Tap Handle. • Place the Keg Coupler on top of your cool keg at a 45° Angle. • Turn clockwise to lock the Coupler to the Keg. • Push down the Keg Coupler handle to "Tap" the keg. Step 11: Opening the CO2 Valve • Turn the Red On/Off CO2 valve to allow CO2 to flow into the Keg. • Beer should start to flow up the Beer Line connected to the Keg Coupler. • Allow the keg to Sit and pressurize for at least 30 minutes before pouring.
