In this first episode, we’re introduced to Ser Duncan the Tall and a mysterious young boy who will later be revealed as much more than he appears. I talk about: First impressions of Dunk and Egg How the episode sets up the story The tone compared to Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon The music and atmosphere Subtle foreshadowing moments Why the ending scene really worked for me Set 100 years before Game of Thrones, this series expands the world in a smaller, more character-driven way — and I really enjoyed the strong start.
