This kit gave me a genuinely great experience — from assembly to posing — and the details are all very well-executed. Even though it’s essentially a remake of Bandai’s RG, I have to say, it left a very positive impression on me, especially coming from the brand FATCAT. And I want to emphasize — if you’re someone who cares about whether a model is a copy of a Bandai kit, then that’s probably the only reason I can see holding you back from picking this one up. Other than that, if you're a fan of the RX-78, this is a must-have kit. The price typically ranges from $35–$45 depending on where you live. One more downside worth mentioning is that it doesn’t come with a standing base like many other third-party kits. Also, the white runners use relatively soft plastic, so be careful during assembly.
