In this tutorial, I'll explain how to pose characters in Daz Studio and then import them into Blender to create simple scenes for your illustrations, all using only free elements (Daz Studio and Blender). This is so you can download the free Daz libraries with models and assets to use; otherwise, Daz Studio will be empty. At 27:07, you can also enable the "Screen Space Reflections" option. This helps a lot if you're using brighter materials or scenes with multiple interacting elements. Regarding Blender, there's still so much to teach; this was just a brief introduction to setting up a simple scene. In the future, I hope to continue helping with tutorials. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Books and tools for learning to draw that I recommend: Figure Drawing: Design and Invention - Michael Hampton Color and Light: A Guide for the Realist Painter (James Gurney Art) How to Draw: Drawing and Sketching Objects and Environments from Your Imagination Also check out Izzy Medrano's Gumroad and Marshall Vandruff's perspective videos.
