Hi munchkins 🤍 This week’s girl, get up! episode was not easy to film. I lost a friend unexpectedly, and grief hit me in a way I didn’t expect. I almost didn’t pick up the camera at all…but from Thursday to Sunday, I decided to show up anyway cause GIRL!! WE GOTTA GET UP! Not perfectly. Just honestly. In this weekly vlog, I’m taking you along with me through a very real, very human week on my weight loss and self-discipline journey. I grocery shop at H-E-B, do a full grocery haul, meal prep simple meals, and get myself moving with walks at the gym. No intense workouts this week, just showing up and doing what I could. I also talk openly about the scale going up, even though I’ve been doing “everything right,” and how frustrating that can feel when you’re already emotionally drained. This episode is a reminder that progress isn’t always visible, grief doesn’t pause your goals, and sometimes discipline looks like doing the bare minimum and still being proud of yourself.
