The Reality of CABIN CREW LAYOVERS: Frankfurt & Tokyo Haneda 🇩🇪🇯🇵

I remember bidding for Frankfurt in my second month of flying. Back then, it was a long stay and allowance was very competitive. However, my bid was never granted and they awarded me Milan, instead. So, after I was rostered for FRA, I was really looking forward to seeing the city. I mean, the real Frankfurt. Little did I know that I would be staying in Mainz, a city located on the left bank of the Rhine River, which is around 48 kilometers away from Frankfurt. Layover was very short, and I needed to prioritize my rest. Had I had at least 48 hours here, I would have gotten on a train to Frankfurt. Nevertheless, Mainz itself is impressive. After 3 consecutive days off post-FRA, I headed to Tokyo Haneda. The weather was toasty as it was late spring in Japan. I did not go sightseeing at all as I had been to Japan quite a lot of times before. I stayed in Kawasaki and ate a lot during my Haneda trip. It was completely chill. Thank you for watching.
