The D35S is a 12-fret dreadnought and a rarity on the market because it comes from an era when mainly 14-fret dreadnoughts were sold. The last serial number for which Martin used Brazilian rosewood was 254497, so this 1969 D35S with serial number 248255 still features the legendary combination of Brazilian rosewood and a spruce top. The three-piece back gives the guitar a bit more compression and a hefty bass response compared to other dreadnoughts. In addition, this D35S is distinguished by the 12 fret construction, which allows the bridge to be placed a little more to the back, which in turn benefits the volume. It looks very clean for its age but, in addition to the playwear and dings, it obviously does not escape the traces of time such as weather checking. It also has a repaired crack on the side of the body, and the top also has a very small crack along the fingerboard. It is certainly in very good condition and a true joy to play! Comes in a hardshell case with TFOA passport. Gear: Martin D35S 12 Fret Brazilian 1969: https://www.tfoa.eu/en/martin-d35s-12... Neumann KM184 Pair Thanks for watching this video! Want more TFOA?
