The AXIS Pie Line is a fully automated pie production line capable of accurate and efficient dough depositing and forming of pies ranging in size from 3”- 10” in diameter. Reach your optimum output with rates of up to 30 cycles per minute (up to 120 pies per minute for smaller sizes). Denesting The tray denester mounted on the conveyor frame will automatically denest and place the pie tins into an indexing conveyor that transports them to the AXIS LD Depositor. The timing of the tray denesting is fully programmable and a menu-driven HMI allows for the storing of all tray sizes. Depositing Deposit all types of doughs from medium to high viscosity, with or without inclusions. Servo-driven metering rollers and lobed pumps are used for portioning accuracy of less than ±2% variation by volume. AXIS LD Depositors extrude product gently to minimize overworking of the dough. Pressing Forming of pie molds for all types of crusts – shallow or deep, smooth or ridged and with vertical or angled walls. An artisanal option mimics the look of hand crimping while still delivering consistent results. The temperature-controlled heads operate between 0 - 200°F for high precision stamping. Air manifold dies make the removal of moist or sticky dough clean and efficient – no need for flour dusting or greasing. Servo controls are fully programmable for precise control over cycle times.
