Sandbags are a fantastic fitness tool. Ideal for beginners, they are a great way to get started before you move onto using a barbell. And they’re also great for more experienced lifters too. Sandbags are really useful for conditioning, and perfect for breaking out of your form and just getting your sweat on. In this video, we go through some of the best exercises you can do using a Mirafit sandbag. Here, we’re using our gym sandbags which are particularly challenging to use and go up to 60kg. However, you can just as easily use a sand filled power bag which are slightly easier to handle. For the sandbag workout, we show you how to do the following exercises: 1) Step back lunges with swing back 2) Zercher squats 3) Plank pulls 4) Bear crawls with pull through 5) Glute bridges with chop 6) Kneeling chops 7) Sandbag sprints 8) Sandbag rockers 9) Bear hug squats 10) Bent over rows Combine these for an effective workout that engages all of your muscle groups.
