On November 10th, 2012, the first Animegraphy was uploaded to youtube. And now here we are, ten years later. It’s been a heck of a journey, guys. I was barely in high school when I first took over from Qyll, and I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Honestly, if I’d known how hard it would be I probably wouldn’t have done it. But I’m glad I did. The years of trial and error in experimenting with different editing techniques have taught me so much; just last year I didn’t get the video finished until December, but my desire to get it out on the proper anniversary led me to completely revolutionize how I approach the project and now we’re actually early. Wild, huh? Like I said last year, I may be leaving Animegraphy but I’m not leaving AMVs. I have a whole bunch of ideas that have been bouncing around in my head and I can’t wait to share them all with you. Plus I’ve finally advanced from Premiere Elements to Premiere Pro (a change that happened in the middle of this very video, leading to lots of headache as I tried to convert project files because the old ones just wouldn’t open for some reason), so I have even more tools at my disposal! It’s gonna be great. I may decide to start doing Animegraphy again sometime in the future. I may not. But if there are any editors out there who are thinking of picking up the torch, I say go for it. It’s a lot of fun, and it’ll push your limits and make you better than you ever thought you could be. Good luck! Anime: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Z...
