Composed by Maj. G.H. Willcocks. The University of Birmingham Music Society Brass Band has been to every UniBrass contest since winning the prize for best march in the competition's inaugural year. This year’s preparations have not been as smooth as usual, however. The band found out they were coming less than two weeks ago but, nevertheless, are delighted to be here again, particularly under the direction of their first professional conductor, Stuart Birnie.
